What's Your Type
What’s Your Type is an interactive typography kit to teach users about typeface design through games and activities. Most books on typography are geared exclusively towards designers and are often bland and non-interactive. The What’s Your Type Typekit eliminates this problem by creating an approachable kit system and a short, concise guidebook. The kit contains two games, a letterform card game and a font memory game, as well as a workbook and sketchbook to practice learning typographic elements taught in the guidebook. Finally, the typekit gives each user a set of acrylic coasters with the letter “X” that can be utilized outside of the box’s functionality, creating a constant reminder of what they learned. This product’s target audience is primarily curious young adults (especially non-designers) who want to learn the basics of typography.
